Saskatchewan is Opening!

Saskatchewan is opening!

Premier Scott Moe has recently announced the opening of Saskatchewan. The Regina Leader-Post reported that starting on February 14th, proof of vaccination will no longer be required for patrons entering restaurants, bars, theaters, and other businesses. On March 1st mask mandates will also be lifted across the province. For many Saskatchewan residents, this comes as welcome news. There are also segments of the population that are hesitant of the Premier’s decision.

The Premier also stated that “it is time to heal the divisions”. The decision to lift the mandates signals that for Saskatchewan it is time to move forward and find a way to live with Covid-19.

What does this mean for us in Saskatchewan?

It means that we will need to find a way to move forward. Over the past two years, we have become more aware of infectious diseases from viruses and how to combat those diseases, with special attention to Covid-19. Many of us have added new personal habits. Habits such as frequent hand washing and sanitizing along with regular cleaning. For businesses, many have introduced Hygenic protocols as a part of their strategy. Strategies such as extra attention to cleaning, and having available to the public sanitization stations.

When it comes to cleaning one additional step can make all the difference to ensure a deep clean. The final step is disinfecting. By applying Vital Oxide, you can ensure that your areas are not only clean but that all harmful viruses have been eliminated, this includes sars-cov-2. This final step is not only effective but also not harmful as Vital Oxide is a hospital-grade disinfectant.

As clients and customers return to businesses, it is important to find practices that make our businesses safe. At True Clean Solutions, we will continue to be a part of opening Saskatchewan and keeping it open.

First Case of Omicron in Saskatchewan

CTV has just confirmed that Saskatchewan has it’s first confirmed cases of the new Covid-19 variant Omicron.

As new variants are introduced into society, the public is advised to continue to find ways to limit the spread of Covid-19. Saskatchewan is now the latest of the Canadian provinces to have confirm Omicron cases. Omicron was also detect in Manitoba.

As Omicron works its way across Canada, residents are reminded to stay vigilant in stopping the spread of Covid-19. Disinfecting protocols continue to be an excellent way to slow down the transmission of Covid-19 and the growing list of variants.

True Clean Solutions recommends using a hospital grade disinfectant like Vital Oxide to ensure the elimination of Sars-Cov-2. Vital Oxide works fast and efficient to eliminate viruses and bacteria.

Back to School

Back to school is a common theme at the end of August and at the beginning of September. As students of all ages begin classes. The mingling of students, and seeing friends again is one of the few reasons that young children get excited about the prospect of going back to school.

This fall in 2021 we are all aware of the concerns related to increased human contact. The fight against Covid-19 along with other infectious diseases is fought on many battlegrounds. One aspect of the fight is to reduce exposure to viruses and bacteria through disinfecting means.

In choosing a disinfectant it is important to use one that is not harmful to our families and clients. Vital Oxide’s high safety rating and efficacy in killing viruses and bacteria make it the ideal solution. There is no rinsing or wiping required after using Vital Oxide, just the benefit of knowing your home or office is safe.

Mold Remediation

Do you have mold? It is not uncommon for homeowners to come across unsightly mold. Whether it is on bathroom tiles or gyprock, mold is a concern for many homes. Vital Oxide is not only an effective hospital-grade disinfectant, but it also is a great way to tackle invasive mold at the source. Vital Oxide works on the molecular level neutralizing spores and inhibiting fungal growth.

In an independent study, Vital Oxide was found to have a residual effect in preventing mold re-growth for up to seven months.

Whether you have mold in your bathroom from continuous moisture or have concerns of mildew-related water damage, Vital Oxide is a ready-to-use product. Unlike bleaches or other mold removers, Vital Oxide does not contain harsh chemicals or produce harmful fumes.

Choosing the right Fogging Machine

In choosing a fogging machine, what is the right choice for you, your family, your co-workers, and your clients? Over the last year, we have seen a raised awareness of harmful microbes as we have learned to manage our lives around Covid-19.

Size and Frequency

There are two main factors in considering a fogging machine, the first relates to the size of your building or space. How much area needs to be disinfected? The second is how often does it need to be disinfected? The answer to the second question relates directly to the number of people that frequent your space.

The fogging machines that offer the most versatility are the handheld sprayers. The Victory Cordless Electrostatic Handheld Sprayer and the Cobalt Handheld Fogger are effective for disinfecting protocols. Both of these machines are robust enough for servicing homes, office space, and public areas.

For larger areas, the backpack sprayers allow for the user to carry more disinfectant, for less frequent refilling. Both the Victory Cordless Electrostatic Backpack Sprayer and the Cobalt Backpack Fogger offer this convenience.

For disinfecting small areas and surfaces frequently the Handheld Continuous Mister is a great option as it is small, efficient, and priced for a budget. This is a great option for personal traveling. As well the Handheld Continuous Mister is convenient for fast and efficient disinfecting of office cubicles, washrooms and kitchen areas.

Cord or Cordless?

Fogging machines come either battery-powered or require plugging in. This is generally a question of convenience, using a fogging machine without the cumbersome extension cord helps save time on the job. For areas that require frequent and fast disinfecting it is helpful to consider a cordless fogging machine. The Victory products are powered by Lithium-ion Ion batteries, giving them the convenience of easy access. The Cobalt products are priced sufficiently less but they require access to a wall plug-in.

Regardless of your choice having a fogging machine as a part of your disinfecting strategy can give you and the people closest to you an effective means in combatting Covid-19 and other harmful viruses.

Victory Innovations Lithium-Ion Battery Important Voluntary Safety Recall Information

Victory Innovations Lithium-Ion Battery Important Voluntary Safety Recall Information

Victory Innovations has notified us that some Victory Handheld and Backpack Sprayers include a battery that may allow liquid into the battery. Victory Innovations has decided to employ an abundance of caution and voluntarily recall these batteries. Below is the necessary information and links to determine if your battery requires replacement. All information is provided by Victory Innovations to complete their own Voluntary Safety Recall.

What is the issue with battery?
The affected batteries, when exposed to water/liquid ingress, have overheated and in some cases emitted flames. Victory Innovations has received no reports of anyone being seriously harmed or injured from a battery incident, nor has this defect caused any fatalities. Victory has done extensive testing to try and replicate this defect and has found no consistent pattern to either the amount of water/liquid required to create this defect or length of time required for exposure to water/liquid. Again, out of an abundance of caution, Victory has chosen to proactively replace your affected battery at no charge to you.

How do I know If I have an affected battery?
It is visually very easy to determine. Turn your battery so the back is facing you. A new battery will have rubber plugs covering the screw heads and the affected battery will show the screw heads.

Can I still use my battery?
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sprayers, remove the battery and dispose it in accordance with local laws for disposal of lithium-ion batteries.

How long will it take for my replacement orders to ship?
Once all the information is collected and verified, Victory Innovations should ship in 48 hours.

Can I keep my old battery as a spare?
No, Victory Innovations is requesting that you to dispose of the affected battery properly once you receive the new battery.

What do I do with my old battery?
Victory Innovations is requesting that you dispose of your battery properly. Please check your local recycling facilities and options in your area.

When will the issue be fixed?
As of November 5,2020, all shipments from Victory have been corrected. Victory is now producing a new battery with additional safety features. This new battery has been extensively tested and is very robust. This is the battery you will receive as a replacement.

How long do I have to replace my battery?
Victory has not yet established a deadline for replacements but would like to replace the affected batteries as soon as possible.

Can I get a new unit?
No, the recall is only for the battery. If your battery is determined to be affected, you can receive a new battery at no charge.
